Dr. Charlotte Krause

Vita

Born in 1991, she first trained as an industrial clerk (IHK) from 2009 to 2012 and then studied for a BA in Public Management at the University of Public Administration in Kehl from 2013 to 2017. While working, she studied for a master's degree in public management at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg from 2020 to 2023. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a doctorate under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Gerald G. Sander, Prof. Dr. Frank Brettschneider, Prof. Dr. Birgit Schenk, and Prof. Dr. Felix Hammer in the Good Administration doctoral program on the topic of sustainability in administrative action, conducting research in areas such as urban planning/urban development, public value, and citizen participation. Since 2017, she has gained professional experience at the local authorities in Ulm and Ravensburg, where she has worked in the areas of budgeting and accounting, integration assistance and basic social security, digitization of schools, and as deputy managing director of municipal foundations. Since 2026, she has been head of human resources development and personnel services for the city of Ravensburg.
